Dear colleagues, sponsors and all attendees,
it is an honor to inform you that our XVIII workshop Algorithms in gastrointestinal endoscopy and endoscopic ultrasound has been sucsessfully maintained on November 12th 2021 at Clinical Hospital Centre Zagreb, despite pandemic situationin the world caused by COVID-19.
Workshop has been adjusted to newly formed situation, in acordinance with epidemiological measures, and for that reason lectures in first part of workshop has been organized online.
Second part of workshop that has been intended for exercises (intestinal ultrasound, exercises on ex vivo animal and mechanical models, as well as on live porcine models) took place in small groups per 5 people. Exercises has been organized in two workstation for bleeding in gastrointestinal tract, stomach polypectomies, liver biopsy and mechanical ERCP, and two workstation for procedures (POEM, ESD, EMR).
This way I want to thank all colleagues, doctors, sponsors who have been actively involved in our workshop, as well as to all attendees.
I hope that this year Algorithms have taugth us something new, that they have been interesting and that we see you next year!
